Hike 11/16

I'm not sure how far I walked around in Wellington, but it must have been at least 5 miles. Half of that was climbing up Mt. Victoria to the summit for the spectacular 360 degree view.

Mt. Victoria is covered with paths, for trail running and mountain biking. The main road levels off near the summit, with a short final climb to the upper parking area. This last hill was extremely popular with cyclists - I saw at least a dozen doing what appeared to be hill repeats. Climb up, coast down, circle around, and repeat. Individuals, pairs, teams... all kinds of people were getting their hill climbing workout in!
